Purpose of this site

This site is dedicated to creating a common database of all the Rotary clubs in Area 5, allowing each club to enter a list of their members complete with addresses, phone numbers, spouses names, classifications, committees and other information. This data can then be shared with members from all these clubs, replacing the printed directory last published in 2005.

Note that passwords are required to enter and view the data, discouraging spammers and telemarketers from gathering this data.

It is anticipated that the Secretary from each club will be responsible for keeping the lists of their own clubs up to date.

The other purpose of this website is to share speaker information with the various clubs. If you find a great speaker, share the knowledge so that other clubs in the area can benefit.

If there is a general desire to use this website instead of Club Runner, that can be discussed, but that is not the primary purpose of this website. The Penticton Okanagan Rotary Club does run it's own website on this system. Contact Dennis Jacobsen if you'd like to discuss this further.
